HAK-Support-Community (HAK-SC) is a registered nonprofit based in Lewiston, Maine, dedicated to removing barriers to transportation, safe shelter, and essential services for vulnerable residents.

Provide free transportation, emergency shelter, and compassionate support to strengthen independence and community connection.

Our Vision

A Lewiston where no one is left behind — every resident has access to safety, mobility, and belonging.

Founded in 2025, HAK-SC began with a simple act: volunteers driving seniors to medical appointments. Today, we’ve grown into a trusted lifeline for hundreds of neighbors — powered by volunteers, donors, and local partnerships.
